Dr. Meenakshi S. Kher

Meenakshi S. Kher, MDS, received her Master’s degree in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from the University of Mumbai.

A leading specialist in pediatric dentistry in India, she established the ‘Happy Tooth Clinic for Kids’ in Mumbai city, in 1995. The practice is dedicated exclusively to managing the oral health needs of children from infancy to 18 years.

Dr. Meenakshi takes a special interest in the fields of minimally invasive dentistry, dental traumatology, treating children with disabilities and in the efficient use of soft tissue lasers in children.

Dr. Meenakshi Kher has been keenly involved in continuing dental education. An invited speaker to international congresses, webinars and podcasts, her passion lies in enthusing clinicians to practice evidence based, child centered pediatric dentistry. This along with her popular CE workshop Pedopathshala (2010), has allowed her the opportunity to personally mentor thousands of dentists from different parts of the world.

In 2019, she authored the book, ‘Contemporary Treatment Techniques in Pediatric Dentistry’, Springer International Publications. The book has since been translated in Turkish.
