Biography
Dr. Fernando J. Sánchez García is a highly experienced Medical Doctor and Specialist in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, with over two decades of clinical, academic, and hospital-based practice.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia in 1994 and completed his specialization in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the Bellvitge University Hospital (Barcelona) in 1998. Since January 1999, he has served as a Consultant Anesthesiologist at the University Hospital of La Ribera, Spain.
Dr. Sánchez García holds a PhD in Medicine, awarded Cum Laude by the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valencia (2016). His doctoral thesis focused on post-dural puncture headache and clinico-radiological correlations, reflecting his strong academic and research background.
In addition to his hospital work, he is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation in the Faculty of Medicine, and Associate Professor of Anesthesiology in the Faculty of Dentistry at the Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir, roles he has held since 2018.
Since 2014, Dr. Sánchez García has been extensively involved in oral rehabilitation treatments, with broad expertise in conscious sedation in dental clinics and general anesthesia in hospital settings. His work bridges medicine and dentistry, ensuring safe, ethical, and evidence-based sedation protocols, particularly relevant for complex dental and pediatric cases.
