MIH Treatment Masterclass: Resin Infiltration & Glass-Ionomer Strategies
During the hands-on session, participants will have the opportunity to improve their practical skills by working on dental models. The session will cover:
- Using transillumination to assess the depth and margins of MIH lesions.
- Techniques for preparing and modifying lesions prior to resin infiltration.
- Performing the complete resin infiltration procedure, including etching, priming, and
application of the infiltrant. - Polishing procedures following resin infiltration for optimal aesthetics.
- Class I restorations with glass ionomer, including the use of conditioner, varnish coating and
polishing techniques.
